“This is Me”

“Northeast Ohio Is Where I’m From, but

the Pacific Northwest is Where I Belong”

Born and Raised in Cleveland, I Never Felt at “Home”, But Then I Discovered the Beautiful PNW…..

I have always loved taking photos……

I remember being fascinated with my father’s Canon camera, but never took it farther than hitting the shutter button to snap a photo of my parents one Easter Morning many, many moons ago. From there, as the cell phones evolved, I became more and more into taking photos and trying to find the best angle, framing, layout, etc.

Years ago, I was introduced to the PNW, particularly Seattle. Not only was it my first time in Seattle, it was my first time traveling cross country. It opened my eyes to all the things I have not seen and all the beauty I have Missed out on.

This whole trip made me fall in love with the area. After Returning back to Cleveland, I went to my favorite spot. The spot I went to when things in my life were “dark”. Once I got there, looked around……this spot was no longer, “my spot”. It did not give me the feeling of “Freedom”, “Happiness”, and “Peace”. At this point, I knew it was my time to make the, “Leap of Faith” (with the blessing from my Grandfather) and move to the Great PNW!

And it was the best decision I have ever made.

In my blog, I will go more in detail of my passion for Photography and share what being behind my camera has done for my Mental Health.

Thank you for following along with this story. My hope is for all who visit my site and view my photos finds the same kind of happiness and peace that I do.

If I could make at least one person smile and bring them out of their dark place….would be the best reward I could ever receive.

“When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown 'em out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be, this is me
Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me”
